My name is Katelyn Greer and I am a senior undergraduate student at Georgia Southern University. I am from Hartwell, Georgia which is a little town on the lake, so I really like water activities. At school, I am trumpet section leader in the marching band and I am president of Women In Technology. Playing trumpet is something I love to do and I have been playing since 5th grade.
I am an Information Technolgy major with a specialization in Web and Mobile Foundations and a minor in Computer Science. I was a Computer Science major for three years so the coding within IT is something I enjoy. I chose IT and Web because I figured out I loved web development my junior year. I love how you can code something and see the results along the way as well as being able to design things too.
My dream job after school is to be a Web Developer for Turner Broadcasting System Inc. in Atlanta, Georgia. I love big companies and have always anted to work for one, and Turner seems great because they have such well known products like CNN, Cartoon Network, and TNT. I imagine my responsibilities would be working on a team to develop web sites and templates, test, debug, and research new ways to do things.
